Firma SQMC (Soquimich Comercial) zainicjowała 3-letnią współpracę próbną z Agrozzi, największą firmą zajmująca się przetwórstwem pomidorów w Chile, w celu zwiększenia plonów pomidorów do przetwórstwa poprzez testowanie różnych systemów nawadniania pod kątem zaopatrzenia w wodę, charakterystyki ekstrakcji i programów nawożenia” – mówi Claudio Valdes, specjalista ds. agronomii w SQMC.

Zastosowania
W sezonie 2006–2007 program SQMC specjalistycznego zasilania roślin produktami Ultrasol® i Speedfol™ (Tabele 1 i 2) porównano z tradycyjnym programem rolnika. Próby przeprowadzono na terenie Sagrada Familia w Curicó. Każda uprawa doświadczalna obejmowała jeden hektar z 35 000 roślinami (1,4 * 0,2 m²/działka). Plony z upraw zostały zebrane i przeanalizowane przez Agrozzi. Analizę statystyczną przeprowadzono za pomocą ANOVA, LSD przy <0,05.

Wyniki
Plony po zastosowaniu produktów Ultrasol® wzrosły o 32% (25 t/ha) w stosunku do dotychczasowego programu upraw. Dodanie Speedfol™ do programu Ultrasol® spowodowało wzrost o kolejnych 7 t/ha w porównaniu do programu Ultrasol® (Tabela 3).

Najwyższą średnią masę owoców uzyskano stosując połączenie Ultrasol® i Speedfol™ (Tabela 4).

Zastosowanie Ultrasol® skutkowało wyższym odsetkiem dojrzałych owoców (Tabela 5).

Program Ultrasol® przyczynił się do wzrostu dochodu netto rolnika o 656 USD na hektar. Program, w którym zastosowano zarówno Ultrasol®, jak i Speedfol™ przyniósł jeszcze większe korzyści: dochód netto rolnika wzrósł o 1054 USD/ha (Tabela 6).
