Qrop® KS prilled potassium nitrate - is a readily available source of potassium, which also provides nitrate nitrogen, which is the predominant source of nitrogen absorbed by plants. This allows the nutrients to be completely assimilated by the crops, avoiding their accumulation in the soil, unlike other K sources such as chlorides and sulfates which are only partially absorbed. Qrop® KS does not contribute to soil salinization over time, and because it contains low levels of chloride and sulfate, it can be used on a wide range of crops, particularly crops sensitive to chloride and salinity, and at any of their growth stages. Qrop® KS prilled potassium nitrate alleviates salinity stress, because nitrate counteracts chloride uptake while potassium decreases sodium uptake by the plant.
