NutriLake® STD and NutriLake® are products that are applied on wet soil after harvest and before planting to reduce the level of organic matter. The oxygen in the product is used by the bacteria to mineralize the organic matter, transforming it into carbon dioxide and water. According to analysis, 100kg of Nutrilake®STD reduces up to 3.4% of organic matter, avoiding negative effects on the ecosystem such as ammonium formation, phytoplankton instability, formation of undesirable algae and dead zones. It releases oxygen when dissolved O2 concentrations and redox potential are low, radically contributing it to the water column for immediate availability and avoiding oxygen drops and formation of hydrogen sulfide gas. The product should be applied in broadcast, dry and homogeneously throughout the pool.
