Ultrasol® AmNit is a nitrogen source that contains both nitrate and ammonium sources of nitrogen. It has a relatively high concentration of the nutrient, containing 34.5 % nitrogen, 50 % in nitric form and 50 % in ammoniacal form.
The nitric form moves easily with the soil water to the roots, where it is immediately available for plant uptake. The ammonia fraction is either absorbed by the roots or is gradually converted to nitrate by soil microorganisms.
