Boosting Lemon Orchard Recovery & Fruit Quality with Ultrasol®ine
The Somis, California lemon trial (June 2023–June 2024) compared Ultrasol®ine (KNO₃ + Iodine), Ultrasol® (KNO₃), and PTS + UAN32 on orchard recovery, vigor, and fruit quality. Despite equal nutrient inputs, Ultrasol®ine stood out, driving faster recovery after stress, denser canopies, and 8% more Grade 1 fruit versus the grower standard. Iodine’s role in binding to root and leaf proteins boosted root regeneration and resilience under poor soil conditions, prompting the grower to adopt Ultrasol®ine across their entire 200-acre orchard.
